esse wood burning stoves

A log burning range cooker is undoubtedly an environmentally friendly idea but in order for such a product to integrate into any modern household it has to be clean, low maintenance and easy to live with. At the heart of this cooker is a quite extraordinary firebox. It is designed for continuous use and can easily be kept alight indefinitely, requiring only occasional ash removal. With good quality fuel this should be just once per month.

The fuel combustion is so effective that virtually all of the fuel is incinerated cleanly, producing maximum heat and minimal ash as a result. Of course it will perform best using properly seasoned, good quality fire logs but our tests have shown that excellent results can be obtained using wood of any kind and quality such as reclaimed pallet pine.

Engineered from cast iron and high grade steel and featuring ‘Afterburn’ a precision secondary air control system, the 100 offers the presence of a wide fire view with a 5kW/h output thanks to its slim profile. This makes it the perfect choice where hearth depths are limited or in rooms where there is hearth space for a larger stove but heat outputs would overwhelm the room. The 100 has been independently tested for use with 12mm non-combustible hearth.

Stunning contemporary styling tubular steel legs culminating at a steel top that has been laser cut with an elegant curve to its leading edge. The result is a clean contemporary look with a softer edge. The spectacular and uncluttered view of the flames is elegantly framed by its stainless steel legs and can be easily controlled by beautifully engineered, minimalist air controls. The firebox door glides open with an effortless action thanks to unique ‘invisible’ hinges.

The 125 is precision engineered from high grade steel and features the ‘Afterburn’ system. It has the presence and clear fire view of the 200 but with a lower output of 5kW thanks to its slim profile. This makes it the perfect choice where hearth depths are limited or in rooms where there is hearth space for a large stove but where higher heat outputs would overwhelm the room. And like the 200 this multi-fuel stove loves to burn logs.

The stove pilot light is designed to be left on constantly and ARCS is battery operated so no mains power is required. The 200 can of course be manually operated and regulated if required.
